Play for a toy

This charity appeal will enable many children living in poverty to receive a toy for Christmas. Based on values of solidarity and sharing, this appeal helps to both introduce our children to the fantastic monuments that make up our cultural heritage and make them aware of the Red Cross’ charity appeal.

The Cité de l’Automobile is opening its doors for free to every visitor who brings a toy or book that is either new or in excellent condition for a less fortunate child. All the toys will be collected together at the foot of a giant Christmas tree, and will then be handed out to children on the occasion of the “Les Arbres de Noël” event organised by the Red Cross, the Secours Populaire Français and Caritas - Catholic Aid. 

Musical events are on offer all weekend by the Conservatoire de Musique, Danse et Art dramatique of the town of Mulhouse: they represent almost 30 hours of accumulated music, in 4 specially designed spaces, at the heart of the most beautiful cars in the Cité de l’Automobile.
